Overview:

Become a temporary part-time Retailer Merchandising & Installation Representative with 2020 Companies!

In this role, you'll work primarily with big box retail stores in your local market, ensuring that store displays and installations are top-notch, daily. This position offers a clear weekly schedule while performing critical merchandising and installation tasks that keep a key retail partner running smoothly.

Pay rate: $23/hr+

Job Description:

Merchandising & Display Setup:

  • Execute retailer-sponsored merchandising tasks, including complex interactive display setups, AV support, and the installation of product security devices
  • Set planograms, install signage, and implement new display technologies in stores
  • Perform installations for store remodels, vendor-supported activities, decommissions, and disaster recovery efforts
  • Ensure all displays and store environments are ready for business each day

Installation & Technical Support:

  • Install complex built-in appliances in kitchen displays, home entertainment displays, and computing displays, following specific guidelines to ensure proper setup
  • Provide basic and intermediate functionality support on all store interactive displays, ensuring they operate smoothly for customers
  • Review all work with store management and operations team ensuring installations meet retailer store environment standards

Reporting & Process Improvement

  • Regularly report on merchandising activities, including stock levels, sales performance, and customer feedback
  • Continuously evaluate merchandising processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and the overall impact on sales and customer experience

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • 3 months of demonstrated merchandising, technical, or functionality support skills
  • Ability to safely use small hand tools, light-duty power tools, and other in-house equipment
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong, positive relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are essential
  • Experience in identifying inefficiencies and implementing process improvements to enhance merchandising effectiveness
  • Must have a smartphone capable of taking photos, resizing them, and uploading them as required
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation
  • Comfortable working in multiple retailer systems to print signs, order parts, and review planograms

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to bend, stand, walk, stoop, and squat for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in various physical environments, including overnight shifts and on-the-road assignments
