Job Summary

Introba is seeking a dynamic and experienced Network Technology Consultant to join our team. This role requires a professional with deep expertise in network technology and cybersecurity, with specific experience in the healthcare, aviation, and transportation sectors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and implementing robust network solutions that enhance security and operational efficiency. This position demands a strategic thinker who can analyze complex systems, develop innovative solutions, and provide actionable recommendations to our clients.

This opportunity is primarily remote but with will require onsite work along with some travel. The preference would be for someone to be located on the East Coast/Eastern Time Zone or Midwest/Central Time Zone.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients in healthcare, aviation, and transportation sectors to assess their network infrastructure and security needs.

  • Develop strategic plans and frameworks to improve network performance and security, tailored to industry-specific requirements.

  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential security threats and recommend mitigation strategies.

  • Design, configure, and deploy advanced network solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.

  • Oversee the integration of network technologies with existing systems, ensuring seamless connectivity and performance.

  • Implement cybersecurity measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols, to protect sensitive data and systems.

  • Lead and manage projects, from initial consultation through implementation, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, IT specialists, and external vendors, to ensure successful project execution.

  • Prepare detailed project documentation, including technical specifications, status reports, and performance evaluations.

  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate client staff on network technologies and cybersecurity best practices.

  • Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting to resolve network issues and ensure optimal performance.

  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships to foster long-term partnerships and identify future opportunities for collaboration.

  • Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements affecting network security and infrastructure.

  • Innovate and implement cutting-edge solutions to enhance network capabilities and security in healthcare, aviation, and transportation.

  • Contribute to the development of company-wide standards and methodologies for network technology consulting services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in network technology consulting, with significant experience in cybersecurity.

  • Ability to work onsite with client or remote from home from East Coast or Midwest area/ Eastern or Central Time Zones.

  • Demonstrated expertise in healthcare, aviation, and transportation sectors.

  • Strong understanding of network architecture, protocols, and security practices.

  • Proficiency in relevant tools and technologies, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and network management software.

  • Experience with cloud computing, virtualization, and cybersecurity frameworks.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on innovation and strategic thinking.

  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to lead and coordinate complex projects.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.

  • Relevant industry certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are highly desirable.
