Role Overview

  • As part of the MX.3 DevOps for Services team, you will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and maintaining MX.3 environments for client projects.

  • You will work closely with internal delivery teams to support upgrades, MX.3 data-model adaptation activities, and environment management tasks, ensuring smooth delivery of Murex solutions across the region.

  • You will also provide technical consultancy and first‑level support related to MX.3 environments, tools, and deployment procedures.

Key Responsibilities – Environment Deployment & Operations

  • Deploy and manage MX.3 software environments for client projects using Murex tools and scripts.
  • Conduct smoke testing to validate environments before handing them over to project teams.
  • Provide first‑level support for deployed MX.3 environments, escalating or redirecting issues to relevant support teams.

Key Responsibilities – Configuration Management

  • Use configuration management tools to export/import configuration items.
  • Diagnose and resolve configuration‑related issues.
  • Apply Murex configuration management methodologies to ensure consistency and quality.

Key Responsibilities – Database Conversion & Migration

  • Drive database migration and MX.3 data-model transformation initiatives to enable clients to fully leverage the latest Murex capabilities and achieve operational efficiency.
  • Assist with stabilization activities post‑migration.
  • Monitor, follow up, and resolve conversion‑related defects.

Key Responsibilities – Methodologies, Processes & Documentation

  • Contribute to the development of methodologies, best practices, and templates for environment setup, configuration management, and conversion processes.
  • Customize, refine, and document installation, upgrade, and migration procedures.
  • Improve communication workflows and documentation standards for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
  • 2–3 years of experience in IT or engineering
  • Strong command of spoken and written English to communicate with global teams
  • Experience with UNIX operations and RDBMS operations
  • Exposure to DevOps tools such as Git, Ansible, Shell scripting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Knowledge of Python scripting.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing environments.
  • Understanding server and infrastructure specifications.
  • Experience with XML manipulation.
  • Murex Tools: Configuration management tools, migration/conversion utilities
