Summary of the position:
Diagnose, repair, or rebuild compressors, engines, accessory drives, oil and water pumps and other related equipment. The candidate will need to be a mechanically inclined, motivated, and dependable individual.
Duties and responsibilities:
Diagnose, test, and perform repairs including complete overhauls on equipment to get it ready for service in the field.
Order parts for repairs and machine some parts to correct specifications. Consult with field staff and assist in diagnosing needed repairs
Maintain work area and equipment in clean, safe condition
Job responsibilities may be altered by the Field Service Manager as customer and/or company requirements change.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Associate degree a plus
Technical Trade School a plus
Professional experience:
Compressor preventative maintenance experience preferred
Experience with rotary screw Oil Free Compressors a plus
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to engage and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
Strong grasp of Microsoft office required
Ability to read and understand schematics
Ability to work independently or on a team
