Position Summary

The Lead Data Migration Developer is responsible for the design, development, deployment and support of SAP ERP and data warehouse enterprise architecture.  The focus of this role is to migrate Regal Rexnord’s existing ERP systems to SAP ECC and ensure the information needs of the corporation are met through a robust, scalable platform.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and data owners to successfully design and implement enterprise level solutions in SAP ECC.
• You will coordinate the building, managing and maintaining a repeatable data load and migration process for SAP implementations and work with the data lead in managing the Data Migration team responsible for identifying, extracting, cleaning, mapping, loading both the master data sets & transactional data sets from multiple sources into SAP system.
• Design ETL load and program logic to meet specifications and Regal Rexnord standards.
• Development of load programs via a custom ABAP program or various SAP tools such as LSMW, LTMC / Migration Cockpit, ALE, etc.
• Develop appropriate system documentation and assist in developing end user documentation for implemented solutions.
• Effectively manage projects, changes, and operations associated with Regal Rexnord's data warehousing and business intelligence reporting solutions.
• Responsible for the delivery of the data migration strategy and execution of the data migration plan.
• Support all data Mock Conversion cycles and the subsequent Data Validation efforts in support of Testing and Go-Live activities.
• Ensure defining logical data models and data standards and leading the overall coordination of data migration activities (extraction transformation load and validation) while working closely with the functional, technical and test teams.

Experience and Skill Required

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in information technology, engineering, or a related field, plus relevant experience.
• At least 9 years of IT experience in SAP Data Migration, Data Analysis, Data Audits, Process Management, Business Analysis, Quality Assurance, Data Analysis and Modeling and Testing of enterprise-wide client/server and Web-based applications and all aspects of Software Engineering and Systems Development Life Cycle SDLC
• Creating and executing load programs to load data into SAP using Data Services ETL and IDoc, BAPI, LSMW, LTMC & custom ABAP program load methods
• Expertise in Cutover Planning, Project Planning, Project Design, Gathering Business and Functional requirements, creating functional specifications, and Use case data flow diagrams.
• Understanding of SAP data dependencies across functional domains: FI, CO, SD, MM, PP, QM, PM, PS, WM.
