Position Summary...

The Senior Manager, Account Management – Scintilla is a strategic commercial leader responsible for driving retention, expansion, and long-term value across a portfolio of Walmart supplier accounts. This role owns supplier relationships and ensures Scintilla’s insights and analytics solutions are embedded in core merchandising and growth decisions.

This leader serves as a trusted advisor, translating data into measurable business impact while delivering against portfolio revenue and adoption targets.

What you'll do...

The Senior Manager leads a defined book of business with accountability for portfolio performance, including retention, growth, and account health. This role delivers consultative, insight-led partnership that influences supplier strategy and strengthens Scintilla’s role as a critical growth enabler.

Strategic Account Leadership

  • Own a portfolio of supplier accounts
  • Build multi-level stakeholder relationships
  • Develop and execute annual account plans aligned to supplier and category priorities.
  • Lead business reviews demonstrating ROI, adoption metrics, and growth opportunities.
  • Identify and drive cross-sell and expansion opportunities across Scintilla solutions.

Consultative & Commercial Ownership

  • Translate Scintilla analytics into actionable recommendations influencing assortment, pricing, and category strategy.
  • Proactively manage account health metrics, and churn risk mitigation.
  • Elevate client engagement from platform usage to business outcomes and value realization.
  • Drive measurable increases in adoption and value tracking to support expansion.

Client Enablement & Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Oversee onboarding and ongoing enablement across platform modules, including training and strategic consultation.
  • Partner with Category Management, Merchandising, Product, and Analytics teams to align supplier initiatives.
  • Influence internal roadmap and process improvements based on client insights and market trends.

Operational Excellence

  • Establish clear success metrics and track portfolio performance.
  • Deliver executive-ready reporting demonstrating impact and revenue contribution.
  • Operate effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in account management, category leadership, retail strategy, consulting, or data-driven commercial roles.
  • Experience working with large-scale retailers or directly within a retail organization strongly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of retail economics including sales, margin, inventory health, turns, and assortment productivity.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, enterprise-level accounts with revenue ownership.
  • Strong executive presence with ability to influence senior stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Experience translating data and analytics into actionable commercial strategies.
  • Proven ability to build long-term strategic partnerships and drive measurable business growth.
  • Strong commercial acumen with negotiation and renewal ownership experience.
  • Highly collaborative, able to lead cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed organization.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently while driving structured account strategy.
  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.

The pay range for this position is $109,400.00 - $150,480.00. Pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
