What You'll Do:
- Implement most adequate logistics strategy to maximize service level towards internal and external customers.
- Manage and deploy logistics initiatives and set up metrics for follow up
- Evaluate supplier performance in terms of service and spend according to budget and KPI’s
- Perform simulations for new scenarios and vendors
- Coordinate bottom-up freight budget elaboration and follow up on monthly spend towards this budget
- Identify and deploy process improvements to increase productivity or cost-efficiency without jeopardizing quality compliance and service level
- KPI’s: develop and maintain reporting/ dashboards and measures.
Qualifications:
- University degree, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in transportation/ analytics or healthcare industry
- Detailed knowledge of major ERP system (SAP preferred) and/or some TMS system
- Proficient knowledge of Excel, experience in reporting tools as Business Objects, Power query, powerBI and Microsoft Automate is a strong asset.
- Transport pricing knowledge, mainly parcel and air freight, is an asset.
- Experience in Lean tools and methodology is an asset.
- Team player and customer oriented
- Strong communication skills and presentation skills
- Flexibility, including work time schedules and travel
- Fluent in English, written and spoken; Dutch is an asset
