Describe the role:

The candidate will report to ERM Manager and provide support to the Account Transitions team globally. The ERM team acts as Operational generalists and as a liaison between Account Transitions, Portfolio Management and Operations. The candidate will play an integral role in the day-to-day servicing of Institutional accounts. In addition, team will be responsible for all new and existing markets requested by portfolio managers.

The key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Achieve the KPIs (TAT and Accuracy) targets in all the activities carried out.

  • Responsible for setting up, updating, and closing of all institutional accounts requested by Account Transitions Team.

  • Working on and responsible for all new and existing markets requested by portfolio managers.

  • Need to work on getting market open and ready for trading at different custodians.

  • Working with internal teams on standing instructions required as per different markets.

  • Working with custodians & brokers for updating market specific trading details on internal systems.

  • Reconciling bank loan positions with internal system and resolve any breaks.

  • Working on resolving account discrepancies on internal systems.

  • Ensure end-to-end process flows and other documentation of procedure guides are in place.

  • Process training for new joiners and existing team members to create a knowledge bank.

  • Proactively anticipate and resolve queries issues arising from processes/ new joiners and resolve them or escalate them in a timely manner.

  • To assist in driving key initiatives like identifying process improvements to improve efficiency.

  • In absence of manager - monitoring queues and allocation of work.

Job Qualifications (The ideal candidate should have the following):

The candidate must be responsible, highly organized, detail oriented and efficient. Strong interpersonal skills and clear communication skills, both written and oral, are a must. The candidate should also have strong problem solving and analytical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dead-line oriented environment. A strong ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage various projects or tasks at once is also required. The ideal candidate should also be able to independently research and resolve issues.

Qualifications, Experience, Education:

  • Overall 6+ years of experience with 4 years in Account Transition, Market opening etc

  • MBA/bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education & experience is required.

  • Experience in reference data management is added advantage.

  • Knowledge of capital market, market workflow is required.

Skills:

  • Ability to communicate at all levels with clarity & maturity with both written and verbal.

  • Client focused and results-oriented, diligent, and works with a sense of urgency.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, quick learner.
