As the BDR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our sales pipeline by leading, coaching, and developing our Business Development Representatives. Your primary responsibility is to build a dynamic team that excels at identifying and engaging new business prospects, while ensuring the alignment of our outbound efforts with overall company goals. By optimizing processes, training, and performance metrics, you will be solving for the challenge of expanding market reach and consistently filling the sales pipeline with qualified leads. Your leadership will directly impact our company’s growth trajectory, empowering the sales team to achieve and exceed targets.

What Will You Do?

  • Define clear performance goals and KPIs for the BDR team, ensuring alignment with company-wide sales objectives.
  • Design and implement innovative lead generation strategies to target new business opportunities across key markets.
  • Engage with senior leadership to refine outbound messaging and enhance the BDR team's effectiveness.
  • Conduct regular coaching sessions and performance reviews to ensure ongoing development and success of each BDR.
  • Build a high-performing, results-oriented team by recruiting, training, and mentoring BDRs.
  • Develop data-driven processes for tracking and improving team productivity and pipeline generation.
  • Establish best practices for outreach tactics, prospecting methods, and lead qualification processes.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the BDR team, including workload distribution and monitoring individual progress.
  • Maintain an up-to-date CRM system, ensuring that all activities, lead information, and communications are accurately recorded.
  • Provide feedback to the marketing and product teams based on market insights gathered from BDR outreach.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years of management experience leading a BDR or sales development team, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and inspire a team of high-performing BDRs.
  • Extensive experience in sales pipeline management and a deep understanding of the outbound lead generation process.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement platforms (e.g., HubSpot).
  • Strong analytical abilities to assess metrics and improve team performance through data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively manage cross-functional collaboration.
  • Solid understanding of B2B sales cycles, buyer personas, and market segmentation.
  • Experience in fast-paced environments, ideally in SaaS, technology, or similar industries.
  • Ability to adapt quickly, prioritize tasks, and thrive under pressure while maintaining a positive team culture.
