Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that are designed to meet specific business needs. Your typical day will involve coding, enhancing components, and collaborating with various teams to ensure the delivery of scalable and high-performing solutions. You will utilize modern frameworks and agile practices to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency in software development.

Key Responsibilities:
A. Provide L1/L2 support for SAP MES/DM applications in a manufacturing environment
B. Monitor system performance and proactively identify issues
C. Handle incident management, service requests, and problem resolution
D. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
E. Perform root cause analysis and document solutions for recurring problems
F. Support system upgrades, patches, and configuration changes
G. Maintain documentation for support processes and user guides
H. Ensure compliance with SLAs and quality standards
Required Skills:
I. Minimum 1 year of experience in SAP MES/DM modules
J. Understanding of manufacturing processes and shop floor integration
K. Familiarity with SAP DM architecture, UI5 applications, and cloud-based deployments
L. Basic knowledge of SAP ERP integration with MES systems
M. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
N. Good communication and interpersonal abilities
O. Willingness to work in rotational shifts (if required)

Nice to Have:
Exposure to SAP BTP, IoT, or Industry 4.0 initiatives
Experience in SAP OEE.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Knowledge of ITIL processes and ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow)

Education:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
