WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
As a Senior Recruiter, University Recruiting – Talent Acquisition, you'll support NIKE, Inc.'s university recruitment and internship program to establish NIKE, Inc. as the employer of choice for top, diverse talent on college campuses. We’re seeking a seasoned talent consultant with a successful track record of identifying, engaging, and closing top early in career talent from undergraduate and graduate level programs, one who takes action, and is adept at influencing key partners and hiring leaders. WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
The goal of the Senior Recruiter, University Recruiting is to maintain a strategic university talent pipeline for NIKE, Inc. You will be responsible for partnering with the Director, University Recruiting and Program Managers to develop and execute the end to end early in career recruitment strategy.
You will own full-cycle recruitment processes for internships in key functional areas across the enterprise with a constant lens on diversity, belonging and inclusion. You’ll develop and execute innovative recruitment strategies that ensure a world class candidate experience throughout.
You’ll serve as a subject matter expert and talent consultant to hiring managers and senior leaders, keeping them abreast of industry trends with a continuous pulse on the candidate landscape for key areas of hire. You will serve as a liaison from University Recruiting to broader Nike Talent Acquisition to partner on talent sourcing and pipelining strategies, as well as to understand what key skillsets and capabilities are needed for the businesses they support.
You’ll provide subject matter expertise on the NIKE, Inc. recruitment processes and champion changes in process or philosophy. You’ll utilize market insights and data to inventively engage, build and secure a pipeline of qualified early in career communities.
You will partner with the Intern Program Team to create, build, and execute an unforgettable NIKE, Inc. intern summer experience that is constantly evolving. You will serve as the subject matter expert on the competitive landscape for other internship programs.
WHAT YOU BRING
Required:
Bachelor’s degree
3+ years of full life-cycle recruitment experience; managing requisitions, sourcing, screening, interviewing and conducting compensation review
2 additional years of experience required in lieu of a degree
3+ years of experience within an applicant tracking system (ATS) or candidate relationship management (CRM) tool
Prior experience in the development, planning and execution of early in career and/or university recruitment strategies
Deep understanding of creating sourcing strategies to identify and hire top talent
Exceptional interpersonal and consultative skills and can influence at all levels
Experience in the facilitation of behavioral-based interview training
Expert knowledge of recruiting practices, principles, applications and methods, including interviewing and assessment skills
Proven ability to effectively build relationships across all levels of the organization, as well as external partnerships (career services, student groups, and professional organizations)
Demonstrated ability to discover, organize, and present relevant market data to plan sourcing strategies and influence key decisions
Successfully deliver on all deadlines and execute in a very fast-paced environment
Ability and desire to travel up to 75% during peak recruiting season
