Team Member Communications, which sits within the Global Marketing and Communications organization, plays a critical role in shaping how our story is experienced internally. We translate the impact of our products, technical leadership, customer momentum, and culture into compelling communication experiences that build pride, clarity, and confidence among team members. We are seeking a strategic internal communications specialist who will play a critical role in informing, engaging, and inspiring HPE team members through leadership communications, awards and recognition, and performance storytelling.

How you’ll make your mark:

In this role, you will shape how leaders connect, inspire, and lead. You will craft powerful and high impact communication experiences that strengthen the connection between leaders and team members, bring our strategy and culture to life, and build pride for HPE. From elevating awards and recognition to translating earnings and business results into clear, compelling stories, your work will help team members see where we’re going—and how they directly drive HPE’s success.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver communication experiences targeted to people leaders, leveraging current channels and experimenting with new formats, that focus on HPE’s priorities for business, talent and culture.
  • Strategize and execute programs that enhance HPE’s reputation through internal and external awards, recognition initiatives, and high‑visibility opportunities.
  • Lead or support submissions, storytelling, and communications related to industry awards and employer recognition programs, ensuring consistency with HPE’s brand and reputation.
  • Support internal and external events that elevate leadership visibility.
  • Coordinate deliverables across stakeholders and program owners; project manage with leadership oversight to ensure accurate and timely communications.
  • Ensure all communications are clear, compelling, and aligned with HPE’s writing style, brand standards, and tone.
  • Use engagement data, feedback, and performance insights to continuously refine communication approaches and improve leader engagement.

What we’re looking for:

  • Superior writing, proofreading, and editing skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to translate complex topics into clear, simple language
  • Experience partnering with leaders or senior stakeholders in a professional environment
  • Comfortable asking questions to increase understanding
  • Creative thinking and ability to experiment with new communications tactics and channels
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with utmost integrity and discretion
  • Confident in multi-tasking and prioritizing multiple projects at any given time.
  • Superior organization and program management skills
  • Curiosity, willingness to learn, and openness to feedback in a fast‑paced communications environment
  • Flexible, positive attitude, and adaptable to change. A team spirit, willing to raise your hand and ask for help when needed

Qualifications:

  • BA or BS in Communications, Marketing or Business Administration preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in employee communications, journalism, marketing or related field  
  • Experience partnering with and supporting leaders is preferred, but not mandatory
  • Experience supporting or executing external awards, recognition, and engagement programs, including coordinating messaging, timelines, and stakeholders is a plus
  • Proficient command of English (US) language including excellent grammar, composition and proofreading skills
  • Familiarity with content management systems, graphic design software, web/video editing, and social media platforms is preferred
  • A portfolio of work available for review is preferred
