We looking for a Senior Accountant. You will work onsite at our Devens, MA office, reporting into the Accounting Manager.

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end close reports and perform month-end close procedures, including but not limited to preparing journal entries for monthly accruals, ERP integration(s), Credit Card activity (Brex)   and lease activity
• Reconcile worldwide cash accounts and maintain cash reporting working with Accounts Payable and other Departments as needed
• Take full ownership of Fixed Assets, including but not limited to reviewing requisitions and related vendor invoices, collaborating with applicable department leaders, maintaining ERP Fixed Asset System and assisting in physical inventory counts
• Prepare and maintain Prepaid expenses (including prepaid insurance), including but not limited to reviewing related P&L accounts to identify items related to prepaid capitalization criteria
• Maintain Vendor Deposit accounting, including reviewing total project purchase orders and correspond with project owners and accounts Payable department to account for current project status
• Prepare intercompany reconciliation and submission of cross charges
• Assist with review and approval of purchase requisitions on behalf of Accounting in Requisition platform (Coupa)
• Assist with monthly variance and change analysis along with actual vs budget reporting
• Assist with external audits (EY)
• Proactively identify process improvement opportunities
• Take on Special Projects and act as co-lead on implementation projects as needed
• Assist with the design and preparation of KPI’s & other management reports
• Assist with Ad hoc reporting and journal entries

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar field
• 3 to 5 years’ minimum experience in a similar capacity
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Ability to multi-task and work independently
• Meticulous attention to details while maintaining awareness of the larger scope
• Solid computer proficiency, with a focus on excel (x-lookup, pivot tables, etc.)
• Willing to contribute beyond the defined role to meet business needs
• Prior experience with Microsoft D365 Business Central and Coupa Requisition system a plus

Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.​
