Front End Developer Intern

Job Description:

  • Use markup languages like HTML to create user-friendly web pages
  • Maintain and improve assigned digital applications
  • Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability
  • Solicit and incorporate feedback from, and build solutions for, business colleagues
  • Write functional requirement documents and guides as needed
  • Create quality mockups and prototypes as required
  • Help back-end developers with coding and trouble-shooting

Education, Skills, and Experience Requirements for Interns:

  • Current undergraduate rising Junior or Senior enrolled in an accredited college or university who is pursuing a degree in related field and has an interest in the banking/financial services industry
  • Proficiency in Front End development languages, such as: javascript, Angular, React, etc.
  • Working knowledge of source code management tools such as GitLab, GitHub
  • Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle methodologies such as Agile Scrum, SAFe Agile and Waterfall
  • Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
  • Resourceful, enthusiastic, and proactive
  • Highly organized
  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail
  • Experience creating and delivering presentations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to learn quickly and solve problems
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Collaborative and inclusive team player
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Legally eligible to work in the U.S.

The estimated hourly range for this position is $20/hour USD to $22/hour USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
