Job Description Summary

The Gas Turbine Programs Leader is a high-impact role at the center of the Gas Turbine Product Service Engineering (GT PSE) organization, enabling the rhythms, alignment, and effectiveness of the team. This role is ideal for a strategic leader who can connect priorities, drive momentum, and strengthen execution across a complex, cross-functional engineering environment.

As a key integrator for the leadership team, this individual will enable the operating cadence of the organization—bringing structure to priorities, momentum to critical initiatives, and visibility to what matters most. From leading core team rhythms and driving cross-functional follow-through, to advancing strategic initiatives and removing execution barriers, this role is essential to how the team operates and delivers.

This individual will lead core team cadences, drive follow-up across technical and business processes, oversee RCA project management through contractor resources while personally managing selected RCAs, coordinate S2 planning for Fleet Engineering, maintain dashboards and user conference content, and serve as a PowerNow and SmartSheet subject matter expert. The role will also develop and implement strategic plans to address top systemic issues facing the GT PSE organization, while driving broader team effectiveness initiatives.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key integrator for the Gas Turbine Services engineering leadership team, driving alignment, execution, follow-up, and visibility across critical priorities
  • Lead & drive core team rhythms, including leadership cadences, alignment meetings, review forums, and other structured mechanisms that strengthen execution discipline
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to address top systemic issues facing the Gas Turbine Product Service Engineering organization
  • Facilitate Technical Information Letter (TIL) rhythm to ensure timely inputs, alignment, and progression through the process
  • Lead the Technical Depth Assessment (TDA) rhythm, including coordination, follow-up, pacing, and collaboration on TDA tool development
  • Lead the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) rhythms at the GT PSE level, facilitating team-wide activities including RCA screening, gate reviews, etc.
  • Lead key programs and initiatives, helping remove barriers, maintain momentum, and drive timely closure of actions
  • Oversee RCA project management through direction of contractor resources and personally project manage selected RCAs to improve pace, rigor, and quality
  • Develop and maintain SmartSheet templates, schedules, and reporting; serve as the team’s SmartSheet subject matter expert
  • Maintain dashboards and reporting tools, including those supporting user conferences, and develop user conference content from resulting insights
  • Serve as a PowerNow subject matter expert, providing user guidance and process support
  • Provide S2 leadership by consolidating Fleet Engineering needs and coordinating with Systems teams to support annual funding alignment
  • Develop deep relationships with key horizontal interfaces including CSE workstream leaders to standardize and simplify our processes, procedures, and rhythms

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in gas turbine engineering or related technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams and deliver results in a dynamic, high-tech matrix environment.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $113,200.00 and $188,800.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

 

 

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
