Job Description Qualifications:

The Boeing Company is currently seeking Maintenance and Material Handling Dispatcher to join the team in Seattle and Everett, WA

We are seeking highly organized and efficient Facilities Maintenance and Material Handling Dispatchers to join our team. As a Dispatcher, you will play a critical role in coordinating, prioritizing, and dispatching services for Facilities Maintenance and Material Handling operations, both within and outside of assigned areas.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and prioritize dispatch services for facilities/maintenance (e.g., plumbing, electrical systems, utilities, production equipment and machinery) located in and outside of assigned factory areas
  • Obtain information from Customer and input the job information into the computerized system
  • Monitor various maintenance alarms and notify the appropriate personal as necessary
  • Operate multi-line telephones, pager and radio equipment to locate, communicate and provide instruction to facilities/maintenance personnel in assigned plant locations
  • Perform multiple tasks with frequent interruptions in a fast-paced work environment, utilizing excellent people skills
  • This position requires continuous finger manipulation, sitting, occasional lifting less than 10 pounds and rotation of head/neck

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position meets Export controlled requirements and Requires a United States Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15? “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+Experience working with Microsoft Office suite
  • 1+Experience working with multi line phone systems and two-way radio use
  • Lift 35 pounds

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Must have flexibility to support another location if asked.
  • Be capable of working with a team
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be fluent in English
  • Experience with Maximo as a work management tool
  • Experience working in a Dispatch center
  • Understand the role of Equipment Services and Facilities Maintenance
  • Experience in Material Handling Services

Typical Education:

High school graduate or GED preferred.

Shift:

This position is for 2nd shift.
