About the Opportunity:

As a St Vincent’s Cardiac Scientist, you’ll be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated clinical team helping to create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for our patients – those who entrust us with their care.

Our Cardiac Catheter Lab currently is seeking an experienced Cardiac Scientist to join the team at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Northside. We are offering flexible rostering arrangements with permanent full time, permanent part time or casual opportunities currently available.

Our services include:

  • Coronary Angiography and Angioplasty Right Heart Catheterisation

  • Structural Procedures including TAVI & Mitraclip

  • Pacemaker and Defibrillation Implantation

  • Electrophysiology Studies

  • Radiofrequency/Cryoablation/Pulsed Field Ablation

Things that work for us:

  • Degree in Science (or equivalent) with a strong component of human physiology

  • Associate Certificate in Cardiopulmonary Technology

  • Minimum of 12 months experience in cardiac investigations (preferable)

  • Haemo-dynamic monitoring experience

  • Electrophysiology/Permanent Pacing experience

  • Ability to work flexible hours within a highly skilled multi-disciplinary team

  • Motivated with effective communication and interpersonal skills

About Us:

St Vincent's Private Hospital Northside is an acute tertiary private Catholic hospital. We are known for our comprehensive critical care, as well as inpatient and day patient services across a diverse range of medical and surgical disciplines.

Our hospital has 227 beds, 9 operating theatres, 2 cardiac catheter laboratories, a 17-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Day Oncology Unit, Breast Health Centre, Endoscopy Unit, Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit and a 24-hour, private emergency centre provided by Brisbane Northside Emergency.
