Job Title: Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Location: Southern Grand Rapids Area (Middleville, Freeport, Hastings, Caledonia)

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential personal care and support to patients in hospice, helping them maintain dignity and comfort during a challenging time. Your role is vital in ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care, tailored to their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

  • Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and their families.

  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.

  • Monitor and report any changes in patients’ conditions to the supervising nurse.

  • Follow care plans and document patient care activities accurately.

  • Support patients in maintaining their independence as much as possible.

  • Ensure that all care is provided with respect, compassion, and sensitivity to patients’ needs.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Qualifications:

  • CNA License in the State you are applying

  • Positive attitude

  • Dedication to quality patient care

  • Strong communication skills

  • Reliable transportation to perform job duties

  • Ideally to live in service area (less drive time for you!)

  • Comfortable with winter driving as it it Michigan
