We need an accountant to support our EMEA business. The accountant will maintain accurate financial records, support with the forecasting process and partner with the business to provide financial support to the territories to drive our growth strategy. This is a broad and interesting role covering a wide spectrum of finance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Accurate Month-End journal preparation, review and responsibility of respective month-end close tasks.
  • Monthly balance Sheet reconciliations and sign-off’s
  • Manage the accounts receivable ledger, maintaining strong controls, working with the Brand Managers and Partners to ensure that timely payments are received.
  • Provide analytical reviews and commentary for the P&L and BS movements. Deep dive, investigate and analyze the relevant reporting line to provide satisfactory answers for ad-hoc queries from key partners
  • Provide finance support and advice for Regional Business Leads
  • Support on loading forecasts into the planning system
  • Audit support
  • Ad hoc reporting and support

Requirements and skills

  • Masters/Bachelor of Accountancy
  • 3 – 5 years of experience, part-qualified Accountant- L2
  • Proven experience in financial control or a broad finance role (preferably within the retail or ecommerce  industry or at professional services firms)
  • Hands on Exp of accounting standards (US GAAP)
  • Experience reviewing financial data & identifying errors
  • Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures
  • Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge
  • Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge on ERP , Netsuite.
