Job Description

Purpose
To assist Press Operator in setting up, adjusting, operating, cleaning, and general loading/unloading of a flexographic printing press to produce quality printed film for customer packaging needs.

Knowledge Requirements

• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work with and interact effectively and professionally with coworkers in a team environment
• Basic math skills
• Must be able to identify the source of problems on complex machinery, and, if noted, take the appropriate corrective action
• Must be able to read, understand and stay current with all department work instructions and procedures
• Good organizational skills

Education/Experience Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalent. Experience in printing and/or a manufacturing environment is a plus.

Essential Physical Requirements

• Occasional sitting
• Occasional standing
• Frequent walking
• Occasional below waist level work
• Occasional climbing, balancing, pushing/pulling
• Occasionally lifts up to 40 lbs.
• Occasional reaching above shoulder, reaching over 15” away from body, fine motor and forceful motion
• Must have good vision and hearing and use of both hands
• Must be able to communicate with coworkers and Crew Leaders
• Must pass company administered color vision test

• Must be able to maintain regular attendance
