Job description:

The opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Category Manager to join our team, responsible for the sourcing, procurement, and category management of temporary labor across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This role plays a key part in shaping and optimizing the temporary labor supply base across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, ensuring a reliable, high-performing, and cost-effective supplier network that complies with all applicable regulatory and legislative requirements.

How you will make an impact:

  • Develop, plan, and implement sourcing strategies for temporary labor, aligned with the global category and supply base strategy, with a strong focus on the European, Middle Eastern, and African markets.
  • Lead end-to-end procurement processes, including supplier identification, negotiation, contract management, and commercial agreements tailored to temporary labor requirements.
  • Ensure all sourcing activities comply with local labor laws, immigration requirements, and other applicable regulatory restrictions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with staffing suppliers and agencies, regularly evaluating their performance to ensure high-level service delivery and labor supply reliability.
  • Proactively identify risks and implement business continuity measures to ensure uninterrupted labor supply.
  • Drive strategic programs and initiatives aimed at improving cost efficiency, workforce quality, and process reliability.
  • Lead the implementation of large-scale projects and processes aligned with the global category and supply base strategy, providing strategic input and delivering results with minimal supervision.
  • Work closely with the Global SCM Category Lead, Temporary Labor to implement and further improve the overall category strategy.

Your background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced education or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Proven experience in temporary labor category management, strategic sourcing, or procurement, preferably across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
  • In-depth understanding of legislative restrictions, labor laws, and compliance requirements for temporary staffing in targeted regions.
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills, with the ability to develop and optimize a high-performing supply base.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and deliver results in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working across large multinational organizations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience in coaching or mentoring others.
  • Fluency in English required; proficiency Arabic is highly desirable.
