Mold Masters is looking for a Business Analyst – Strategic Deployment to join our team in Georgetown, ON.   

We are looking for a highly motivated, innovative, self-directed Business Analyst to perform a critical role supporting our overall strategy deployment, providing analytical support to help us maximize our effectiveness, with a focus on sustainability, operational excellence and breakthrough performance.  

As a member of the Strategy Team, you will play a key role, bringing performance metrics and analytics to life, creating easy to understand presentations for Senior Management that support the strategic decision-making process underpinning business success.  This unique opportunity provides high exposure to the Executive Management Team (EMT), providing a foundation of analytic support across a broad range of strategic initiatives, as well as in day-to-day operational execution, in collaboration with internal business leaders and external stakeholders.

As Business Analyst – Strategic Deployment, you will bring exceptional analytical skills combined with a visual flair that come together to drive common understanding of performance throughout the business.  Creativity and innovation go hand in hand with attention to detail, stellar communications, both verbal and written, and the proven ability to operate virtually with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, agile environment.

What you’ll do:

  • Collaborate with business groups to across functions to gather and document requirements for new initiatives and projects.
  • Analyze and evaluate business processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the design and evaluation of solution options by conducting research and analysis on industry trends and best practices.
  • Develop detailed functional specifications to support the development of custom solutions.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders and ensure all requirements are captured and prioritized.
  • Ensure solutions are aligned with the company’s overall strategy and goals.
  • Use and standardize variety of requirements modelling techniques - such as user stories, process mapping, acceptance criteria, and business rules – to convey information.
  • Participate in ongoing internal and/or external continuing education activities.
  • Participate in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives in keeping with the company's Quality Management System
  • Proactively identifying gaps and addressing accordingly

Basic Requirements:

  • 3-5 experience as a business analyst (or equivalent) role; Manufacturing Industry experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working on software development projects.
  • Ability to elicit and document both Functional and Non-Functional Requirements
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • A talented facilitator skilled in negotiation and influencing.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Working knowledge of emergent Gen AI technologies (e.g., ML, knowledge management, chatbots, CRM platforms) and their practical business applications, with a propensity for learning.
  • Data Analysis: Ability to analyze data sets to find trends and patterns.
  • Process Modeling: Understanding of process modeling and workflow analysis to optimize business processes.

Qualifications - External

Great to Haves:

  • Project management skills and analytics is an asset.
  • Excellence in creative problem solving with the ability to understand, analyze and optimize complex business problems, issues and challenges.

  • Hybrid work model, based at our Georgetown, Ontario facility.
