Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that the production line, peripheral equipment and infrastructure operate continuously, safely and sustainably, with a focus on electrical/electronic devices and control systems.
  • Performing preventive maintenance tasks, repairs and improvements to prevent unplanned stoppages and malfunctions.
  • Identifying opportunities and technical development of ideas, innovations and improvements to machines and equipment, ensuring their realization in close collaboration with production.
  • Instructing process operators in the technical operation of installations and equipment
  • Encouraging the analysis, structuring and optimization of complex process flows
  • Affinity with creating software programmed and maintaining drawings
  • Safe coordination of contractors.
  • Management of spare parts.
  • Support function for the planning, commissioning and testing of new machines and equipment in accordance with all relevant legal and Freudenberg standards.

Qualifications:

  • Completed vocational training in a technical field, such as Electrical Engineering/Mechatronics.
  • Work experience in the manufacturing industry (preferably process or chemical industry)
  • Good social and communication skills
  • Knowledge of operating systems, e.g. Siemens S7.
  • Enthusiasm for programming, process simulation and automation is an advantage
  • Ideally, experience with process improvement methods (LEAN, 5S+S, TPM, Visual Management)
  • PC all-rounder with MS Office skills
  • Fluent Dutch (written & spoken), English and German is an advantage
  • High degree of independence and an open-minded, flexible, proactive and motivating 
  • Hands-on mentality in a diverse environment.
  • Motivated to develop yourself and the team personally and professionally
