Position Highlights:

  • Position: MRI Technologist II $5,000 Sign on Bonus
  • Location: Skokie Hospital
  • Full Time/Part Time: Part-Time (20 hrs/wk)  
  • Hours: Saturday & Sunday 7:30AM-6:00PM with rotating weekends. On-call every 6-8 weeks.
  • Required Travel: N/A
     
     

    What you will need:
  • License: ARRT Registration required
  • Education: Certification or Associate’s degree in Radiology from an accredited program
  • Certification: CPR required
  • Experience: Previous MRI Technologist experience preferred
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required
     
     

    What you will do:
  • Perform MRI exams for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illness and/or injury, in accordance with departmental standards, policies and procedures
  • Prepare patients for exam: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort
  • Review MRI images to ensure optimum quality
  • Assist with patient/family participation in post-procedural care for all age groups and provide resource information, as directed
