The Opportunity:

Provides financial, compliance and analytical support to NAVSEA 05 Amphibs & Aux Project Manager.  Assists in managing Subcontractor requisitions/purchase order workflow and accounts payable workflow.  Assists in monitoring contractual compliance of Subcontractor project activities.  Assists in preparing contractual monthly customer reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Support NAVSEA 05 A&A Project Management & Business Operations Management
  • Primary Subcontractor/ODC Purchase Requisition processor & tracker Preparation of purchase requisitions (PRs) to establish, fund, and modify Subcontractor agreements and direct billable vendor purchases in support of the project
  • Preparation of purchase requisitions (PRs) to establish, fund, and modify subcontractor agreements and direct billable vendor purchases in support of the project
  • Track the PR approval process, review subcontract modifications for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
  • Assist buyers/Subcontract Administrators with additional documentation as required
  • Delegated subcontractor invoice approver for project 
  • Track subcontractor payments
  • Assist Project and Task Managers in tracking financial performance
  • Assist Program Manager in preparing monthly financial and technical reports to customers (Project and Task Instruction Level)
  • Train co-workers in P2P SOPs for in-house support

Qualifications: 

  • 4 to 7 years of related experience in financial reporting, compliance, management and analysis

Desired: 

  • Preferred Bachelor’s Degree Expertise in Excel Some proficiency with database software
