In order to strengthen our Sales team in GB, we are looking for a Business Development Executive - Wholesale

 

Location

This role will be largely field based seeing customers, with monthly travel into the London office. This will also require travel as per business needs within the UK and potentially 1-2 international travels per year for trainings or international group meetings and will report into the Senior Customer Business Manager – Wholesale & Convenience.

Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the expansion and further development of Capri-Sun products within your allocated Wholesale customer base, as well as driving new business within key route to market partners
  • Regional wholesalers and Cash & Carries across different buying groups will be your main focus areas for new business growth.
  • You are the first point of contact for your customers; you will lead all negotiations and escalate where necessary 
  • Build a contact matrix and influence all relevant stakeholders within your customers to ensure best in class visibility, promotions, brand activations and listings of the Capri Sun brand
  • You will constantly track and analyse markets, competition, customers, pricing, portfolio, placements and promotions to ensure you always have a winning customer plan
  • You proactively course correct if your plan is not working and the financial targets are not being achieved

Profile

  • A good understanding of the UK C&C & wholesale sector. Specific knowledge of buying groups would be an advantage
  • Ownership mentality with customers, delivering results & seeking new opportunities
  • This role will require a can-do attitude and be willing to locate new business opportunities
  • Ability to prioritise workload and where time is best spent to achieve maximum outputs
  • Emotionally intelligent, understands the importance of strong cross-functional collaboration  
  • Natural problem solver with a hands-on mentality and strong organizational skills 
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency yet remains calm under pressure
  • Resilient & self-motivated to see sales leads and opportunities through to completion and doesn’t take no for an answer

  • Annual Base Salary range - GBP 35,000 to GBP 37,000 depending on experience
  • Additional car allowance and performance based annual bonus
