About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Overhaul Technician to join our tight-knit team based at our Rowville workshop. In this varied role, you will contribute to the overhaul, assembly, and maintenance of high-performance gas turbines and compressors.

This role is ideal for someone with a mechanical background and a strong commitment to safety, precision, and teamwork.

Key Accountabilities

  • Work with precision tools and measuring equipment to ensure components meet fine tolerances.
  • Follow detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and procedures.
  • Maintain a high standard of workplace safety and contribute to a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate effectively within a small team to meet production and quality goals.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute ideas to enhance productivity and product quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Technical qualifications such as Diploma of Engineering or technical trade background (automotive, aviation).
  • Demonstrated ability to work with fine tolerances and precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, dial gauges).
  • Understanding and adherence to workplace health and safety practices.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
  • Good work ethic, reliability, and a proactive attitude.
