The Business Intelligence Lead serves as a strategic leader responsible for setting the enterprise vision for business intelligence and guiding cross‑functional teams in the development and use of data‑driven insights. Describes the tools, technologies, applications and practices used to collect, integrate, analyze, and present an organization's raw data to create insightful and actionable business information.
This individual advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance and acts as a strategic partner in shaping and prioritizing enterprise data initiatives. The Business Intelligence Lead exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks and works under minimal supervision. The Business Intelligence Lead uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action to advance strategic objectives and facilitate the completion of key cross‑functional deliverables.
