About the Role:
As a Software Engineering Lead, you will be leading and liaising with dynamic, passionate cross functional teams, where collaboration as a team is key.
You will be responsible for overseeing and guiding a team of Software Engineers who deliver value through web applications serving our customers various risk assessment needs. In this role, success means enabling your team to deliver high‑quality software while creating an environment where engineers can grow and do their best work.

Responsibilities:
Deliver resilient solutions using DevOps practices and “Infrastructure as Code”
Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
Lead and influence the design and delivery of scalable, resilient data platform services.
Collaborate across teams to drive innovation and continuous improvement
Uphold our commitment to accessibility, inclusion, and data-driven decision-making
Requirements:
Experience of Cloud Platforms (AWS), Infrastructure as code, MLOps, and Python (or similar technologies), along with monitoring and observability.
Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with diverse audiences
Commitment to learning and adapting in a dynamic environment
Experience mentoring and developing engineering talent.
Passion for building inclusive, high-performing teams.
Willingness to attend our Southampton office 2 days per week (reasonable accommodations available)
Experience with data platforms, distributed systems, and data pipelines in cloud-native environments.
