Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will manage the procurement of maintenance spare parts, operating supplies, and services that support daily facility operations, ensuring timely, cost‑effective, and compliant purchasing. You will help maintain material accuracy, support maintenance reliability, and contribute to uninterrupted plant operations by executing procurement activities, managing supplier communication, and monitoring data and inventory needs.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

  • Execute daily purchase order processing for all indirect and MRO materials.
  • Review MRP transactions and convert MRP‑generated requisitions into purchase orders.
  • Source requisitions and ensure all purchase order details reflect accurate quantity, delivery dates, and pricing aligned with plant needs.
  • Monitor the procure‑to‑pay workflow, including supplier acknowledgment and invoice processing.
  • Follow up on late, incomplete, or faulty deliveries and issue expediting requests as needed.
  • Review and respond to MRP exception messages, including expediting, de‑expediting, and cancellations.
  • Maintain and update purchasing master data such as purchase info records and source lists.
  • Review and adjust MRP master data (safety stock, rounding values, planned delivery times, and GR processing parameters).
  • Manage material transitions, monitor working capital, and complete inventory‑related reporting.
  • Create, extend, and modify materials within PiLog to support plant needs.
  • Generate reports for past‑due and unacknowledged purchase orders.
  • Request quotes for services and parts as required.
  • Process P‑card purchases and complete reconciliations.
  • Monitor goods receipts and invoice receipts to resolve discrepancies.
  • Support cycle counts for all MRO inventory items.
  • Assist with obsolescence and excess inventory reviews and execution.
  • Communicate material‑related issues and shortages with plant partners and suppliers.

Ingredients Required for Your Success

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred (Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or related fields).
  • 1–3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or maintenance operations.
  • Experience in indirect purchasing or MRO procurement within a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Understanding of SAP transactions, MRP principles, and inventory management preferred.

Compensation 

Pay Range:$59,000-$78,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
