About the Job
As an Account Manager at OpenTable, you will serve as a trusted advisor to restaurant partners across Guadalajara and surrounding regions, helping them optimize operations and achieve business growth. In this role, you will build strategic high-level relationships, configure systems to optimize reservation flow, and deliver consultative insights that drive adoption of OpenTable marketing assets. Acting as a key customer advocate, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve client concerns, share industry trends, and lead retention initiatives. Your contributions directly elevate the partner experience and expand OpenTable’s presence in key hospitality markets.
Responsibilities
Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with restaurant partners, serving as a trusted advisor to optimize reservation flow and operational efficiency.
Identify partner needs and present consultative sales opportunities to drive participation in OpenTable marketing programs and achieve quarterly revenue goals.
Collaborate with internal teams—including Marketing, Product, and Technical Support—to resolve cross-functional issues, execute promotional campaigns, and convey product feature requests.
Manage partner retention strategies, lead contract re-signings, and maintain high customer satisfaction across assigned territories.
Perform operational setup tasks, including configuring reservation links on client websites, completing technical installation documentation, and tracking meeting activity in Salesforce.
Deliver industry insights and conduct regular business reviews with key restaurant stakeholders to support long-term success.
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years of account management, customer success, or operational leadership experience in the restaurant or hospitality sector.
Proven track record in consultative sales, account retention, and managing cross-functional stakeholder relationships.
Fluent in English with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Valid driver's license and transportation for regular travel within Guadalajara, Puerto Vallarta, and surrounding areas.
Possession of a valid U.S. visa for periodic business travel to the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field.
Hands-on experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), Google Workspace, and basic web design/HTML concepts.
Strong analytical capability, utilizing data-driven insights to guide customer strategy and business decisions.
Demonstrated ability to deliver group presentations and conduct training sessions for restaurant operators.
Experience thriving in a fast-paced, forward-thinking, and adaptable work environment.
This role requires regular travel within Guadalajara and surrounding areas, including periodic travel to Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco. Additionally, occasional travel to the United States is required; therefore, a valid U.S. visa is necessary for this position.
