As part of Walmart’s Engineering AI Powered E2E Testing, Data, Environment & Tools organization, you will work with some of the smartest engineers, architects, and innovators building next generation platforms that accelerate developer velocity across Walmart’s global eCommerce and Store ecosystems. You will help design and scale systems that power automation, backend services, and AI driven engineering workflows used across thousands of teams. The work you do directly improves engineering efficiency, reduces operational overhead, and unlocks billions in productivity impact across Walmart’s technology landscape.
If you enjoy solving deep technical problems at massive scale, this is the place to build, innovate, and influence.

What You’ll Do
• Architect, enhance, and maintain end to end test automation frameworks spanning backend, web, and native mobile platforms.
• Develop, integrate, and optimize GenAI powered agents, workflows, and engineering tools that elevate productivity, accelerate defect detection, and streamline operational efficiency.
• Design, build, and scale resilient backend services, REST APIs, and automation pipelines engineered to operate reliably at Walmart’s global scale.
• Write high quality, performant code and own features through the full lifecycle—from design and development to QA, deployment, and production support.
• Execute comprehensive testing across functional, integration, regression, and performance dimensions for large scale, distributed applications.
• Diagnose and resolve automation failures, backend issues, and complex distributed system behaviors with speed and precision.
• Embed telemetry, monitoring, observability, and CI/CD excellence into engineering workflows to strengthen reliability and accelerate delivery.
• Track key program metrics, conduct root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement across engineering processes, tools, and automation pipelines.
• Research, evaluate, and adopt emerging technologies to modernize existing solutions and unlock new engineering capabilities.
• Engage in engineering events, hackathons, and innovation forums to contribute ideas, prototype solutions, and influence technical direction.
• Champion Walmart’s engineering standards, quality practices, and values of ethics, integrity, and operational excellence.
