Senior Business Development Manager - Korea

Your Team

As a member of the Korea Business Development Team, you will be part of a team of seasoned professionals whose mission is to support the creation of new sales pipeline by learning and understanding the customer’s business to deliver customer value in digital transformation. The team delivers strong short- and long-term impact on the company’s business goals. This position has strong interaction with Sales, Presales and Marketing, as well ask with global functions within PTC at headquarters (Boston) and around the world.

Your Day-To-Day

• Work closely with Sales to identify key accounts for purposes of generating new pipeline and/or strategic opportunities.
• Engage with C-level and high-level executives at key accounts to drive digital transformation initiatives using PTC technology.
• Conduct value assessment engagement in key accounts, in coordination with Sales and with the Digital Transformation Group at PTC HQ.
• Develop, document and share materials for use by Business Development and Sales teams in customer engagements.
• Collaborate with local and global PTC teams to ensure best practices, use cases, market information, etc. are shared and leveraged.
• Achieve key performance indicators, including new pipeline and opportunity deal size.
• Act as a thought leader for Digital Transformation in sales/marketing activities, conferences, seminars, industry events, etc.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful campaign execution; align with local go-to-market strategies.

Skills and knowledge most relevant to the job:

• 10+ years of experience in business development or consulting for federal, aerospace & defence industry, or expertise leading business transformation in a manufacturing company.
• Demonstrated curiosity and capability to learn new domains.
• Ability to think strategically and work collaboratively.
• Domain expertise in Digital Transformation.
• Proven track record in successful business transformations.
• Ability to conduct research and produce new materials for use with customers.
• Confidence to present your ideas, projects, and results in front of C-level executives.
• Ideally with work experience at a foreign-based company.

Basic Qualifications

Education: BA or BS Degree.

Languages: Native Korean, Fluent English.

Proficiency in Office tools.
