About our Team

Works with our clients to provide in depth knowledge of functional/business area and/or specific applications to identify, customize and implement appropriate applications/solutions (e.g., HR information systems, Enterprise Resource Planning systems, manufacturing/supply chain) for external clients.

About the Role

As a REMOTE Technology Consultant with the Professional Services Team (USA), you will provide ERP application services to clients. You will be responsible for analyzing their needs and customizing software to meet their requirements. Additionally, you will translate client needs and train personnel on the use of these applications.

Requirements:

  • University or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 
  • Minimum 5 years of technical implementation experience  
  • Knowledge of Unix (Linux Redhat, AIX and Solaris) and Windows operating systems  
  • Knowledge of RDBMS & SQL relationship databases (Oracle, DB2 and MS SQL Server)  
  • Knowledge of IBM MQ – queueing system  
  • Configuration of Webservers: WebSphere, WebLogic and Apache Tomcat – at least one.  
  • Knowledge of Three Tier architecture  
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills  

  

Preferred skills:  

  • Experience in a multinational and multi-cultural environment  
  • Affinity or experience with Compliance, CFT (Counter-Financing of Terrorism), AML (Anti-Money Laundering), or KYC (Know Your Customer)  
  • Understanding of financial industry and knowledge of payment standards (SWIFT, SEPA, etc)  
  • Experience with financial messaging systems, Swift and other banking format is a plus  

Responsibilities:

  • Applies in-depth knowledge of functional/business area and/or specific applications to identify, customize and implement appropriate applications/solutions (e.g., HR information systems, Enterprise Resource Planning systems, manufacturing/supply chain) for external clients
  • Analyzes client needs and participates in design of business process requirements
  • Translates business requirements into off-the-shelf and customization specifications
  • Tests, documents and trains client personnel on functional/business applications software
  • Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines
  • Demonstrates mastery of concepts and procedures in a specialism Solves complex problems
  • Works independently, receives minimal guidance
  • May lead projects or project steps within a broader project or may have accountability for on-going activities or objectives
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
  • Requires conceptual and practical expertise in own area and general knowledge of related areas
  • Business Expertise: Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products/services or processes
  • Leadership: Often leads the work of small project teams; may formally train junior staff
  • Problem Solving: Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information

  • Interpersonal Skills: Works to build consensus
