Autodesk is evolving its subscription business models and the Offer to Price team is helping ideate, plan, build and run the foundation of the company’s business with an eye on scaling to meet the needs of its growth to $10B and beyond.

To support the myriad and complex needs of running the business, the architectural landscape consists of a lot of systems and this role is pivotal to building a resilient and scalable application on AWS cloud infrastructure.

To support this vision, we are looking to hire an experienced SDET to be part of the Offer to Price (O2P) team responsible for Offering and Pricing Life Cycle Management. The O2P team is a group of strong engineers who are at their best when working collaboratively both within and outside the team. They collectively strive to build best-of-breed solutions for a company with a vision to imagine, design and create a better world.

Responsibilities

  • Take end to end responsibility of driving UI & API automation of a web application and standalone APIs using Cypress and Playwright

  • Developed in React and the APIs are built in Node.js. If you don’t have direct experience with Cypress/Playwright but have worked with other tools and frameworks and are eager to learn these frameworks, we think you can be successful on our team!

  • Design, code, test, debug, and document software, and enhance existing components to ensure that software meets business needs

  • Have experience in developing automation frameworks, preferably in Cypress/Playwright

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proficient in programming with Node.js or Java/Python (and willing to learn Node.js)

  • Have experience working with AWS components, such as EC2, S3, RDS, SQS, Lambda and deploying applications on AWS

  • Have hands-on experience with Jenkins to build CI/CD pipelines for QA

  • Have hands on experience with tools like SoapUI and Postman for API testing

  • Have hands on experience using Git for source control

  • Have performance testing experience using Jmeter/LoadRunner or willing to learn it on the project

  • Have ability to work independently as part of an Agile squad and drive test automation development

  • Have ability to plan and lead the QA team efforts

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $119,700 and $193,600. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
