Lead Software Engineer F/T

Overview
Provide Architecture Solutions complex problems having dependency across domains and services and drive Domain Architecture Roadmap.

Role
• Perform code-reviews, code scanning, and establish standard development practices to deliver high-quality designs to meet the business requirements/enhancements.
• Identify opportunities and build roadmaps to enhance primary service/function and drive prioritization decisions and trade-offs in working with product partners and
• Drive seamless integration across all connected services to meet end-user expectations.
• Drive Root Cause Analysis of incidents, document and share learnings via regular trainings and Knowledge sessions.
• Introduce new technologies and architecture by following enterprise guidelines.
• Advocate for engineering principles and provide architecture guidance to team members.
• Build relationships and effective partnerships across organizations.
• Conduct technical interviews for hiring engineering staff and raising the performance bar.
• Encourage innovation through Guild/Program to drive reuse of patterns/libraries/practices and enhance productivity.

About You
• Position requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Applied Comp Science, Computer / Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical / Industrial Engineering, Mngmnt Info Systms, Business Admin, or related and eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, IT Engineer, Software Developer, Technical Lead, Programmer Analyst or related.
• Qualifying experience must include at least five (5) years of experience with each of the following: Java; JavaScript; Spring/Springboot; JPA; SQL; Cloud; REST API.
• Rate of pay: $189,592 - 277,000/ Year

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
