Job Summary

Synechron is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior iOS Developer to lead the development of high-performance, enterprise-scale mobile applications. This role plays a crucial part in delivering innovative iOS solutions that enhance user experience, ensure app stability, and optimize performance across global markets. The successful candidate will contribute to defining technical standards, influence cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement aligned with business objectives.

Software Requirements

Required Skills:

• Swift (minimum 7 years of professional development experience) with proven expertise in building scalable, high-performance enterprise applications

• Objective-C and C++ (strong working knowledge)

• Xcode (latest stable versions), with experience in debug, performance tuning, and monitoring tools

• iOS SDK and associated frameworks (UIKit, Core Animation, MapKit, AVFoundation, StoreKit, Core Location, SiriKit, CallKit, Core Bluetooth, EventKit, AddressBook)

• Cocoa frameworks for application architecture (MVC, MVVM)

• Version control systems (e.g., Git)

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with third-party libraries such as Alamofire, SDWebImage, SnapKit, and other common networking and UI enhancement tools

Overall Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex iOS applications ensuring high performance, scalability, and maintainability

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and backend developers to deliver seamless mobile experiences

• Architect and implement clean, efficient APIs and reusable components that adhere to best practices

• Conduct performance tuning, debugging, and code reviews to uphold quality standards

• Stay informed on the latest iOS development trends, tools, and frameworks to benchmark and integrate new technologies

• Document technical specifications, frameworks, and processes to ensure knowledge sharing within the team

• Mentor junior developers, influence team best practices, and promote a culture of continuous improvement

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in iOS development with a focus on enterprise applications

• Proven experience in performance optimization, debugging, and monitoring in large-scale iOS projects

• Demonstrable success designing and implementing complex APIs and system-level integrations

• Experience working with third-party libraries and SDKs for networking and UI improvements

• Prior experience working within Agile teams and participating in architectural decision-making

Preferred:

• Experience in spatial reasoning or augmented reality integrations for mobile apps

• Industry experience in finance, healthcare, or enterprise solutions

Day-to-Day Activities

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality iOS applications aligned with project requirements and organizational standards

• Participate in daily stand-ups, planning sessions, code reviews, and collaborative design discussions

• Integrate third-party libraries and SDKs to enhance app functionality and user experience

• Conduct performance profiling and debugging to identify issues and implement optimizations

• Collaborate with QA and product teams to ensure end-to-end quality and timely delivery of features

• Document code, architecture decisions, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing across teams

• Stay updated on new iOS technologies, trends, and industry best practices, applying relevant innovations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; equivalent industry experience also accepted

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Apple Certified iOS Developer) are preferred but not mandatory

• Commitment to ongoing professional development through workshops, courses, and technical communities
