The IIQ Solution Architect within Expert Services is responsible for overseeing the technical delivery and resolution of Expert Services cases. This player/coach position will oversee the technical team as well as maintain a utilization target. This position is a senior level position requiring advanced technical skills and experience with enterprise level Identity and Access Management engagements.
What you'll do:
The IIQ Solution Architect for Expert Services at SailPoint begins by leveraging their experience to build a deep understanding of our SaaS and/or Software solutions. Within a month or two, they are serving as a technical lead on customer engagements and cases where they will employ their client and partner communication skills, as well as their industry knowledge to share organizational best practices for SailPoint products and identity governance. After their first six months, Senior Solution Architects will have established themselves as both technical and consultative experts within the Expert Services organization. By the end of their first year they will have become a trusted advisor to customers, partners, leadership and to less experienced team members.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Engagement Managers and Analysts to properly assign, progress and peer review Expert Services cases.
- Maintain oversight of Expert Services cases being delivered by their team.
- Ensure any ES cases that have been escalated receive the proper level of effort and serve as the technical escalation point of contact until closure.
- Assist with case resolution when team members require additional assistance or determine other resources with the required technical skills.
- Perform or oversee Identity Check-ups including peer review, overall quality and coordination with partners/customers.
- Implement and maintain a standardized case progression process to gain efficiencies, overall team performance and increase CSAT.
- Assist in determining whether a case should be transferred to, or from, Support
- Provide mentoring to team members and ensure all team members have a well-designed and documented career progression plan. This individual will play a key role within the technical Center of Excellence (COE) program to help increase overall technical aptitude
Requirements:
- 5-7+ years of professional work experience as part of an enterprise software company or systems integrator. This should include 3+ years of enterprise software implementation experience.
- Experience with the following programming languages: Java, BeanShell/JavaScript, JSP/Servlets, SQL.
- Experience with the following web technologies: XML, SPML/SOAP, Web and Application Servers, HTML.
- Experience setting up and installing software on both Windows and Unix (Linux, Sun, HP, AIX) platforms.
- Experience with Databases (Oracle, Sybase, MSSQL, MySQL).
- Experience with Directories (LDAP, AD).
- Experience with enterprise systems (SAP, PeopleSoft) a plus.
- Familiarity with identity management provisioning systems (Sun, Oracle, IBM, Novell) a plus.
- Familiarity with RBAC a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and extensive experience working with clients and partners.
- Experience with Project Management duties (project planning, resource management, scope, schedule and status, documentation).
- Experience with QA duties is a plus (usability testing, performance testing, automated testing, test scripts, test cases and test plans).
- Security software or internal IT audit experience a plus.
- Experience in a startup company is a plus.
Education:
Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience, preferred. J2EE certification is a plus. CISSP certification is a plus.
Travel:
This position requires up to 35% travel.
