EDUCATION • Degree or equivalent work experience equally preferable CERTIFICATIONS WORK EXPERIENCE • Experience within a complex financial services environment providing support for compliance, legal, or regulatory change initiatives FUNCTIONAL SKILLS • Proficient in regulatory research and horizon scanning tools • Experience using regulatory change management platforms and workflow systems • Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks across multiple jurisdictions FOUNDATIONAL SKILLS • Communicates effectively • Identifies multiple paths to success using analytical and critical thinking as well as decision-making skills • Exercises sound judgement, prioritizes effectively, and strives for continuous improvement • Effectively collaborates with colleagues • Leverages available technology to drive efficiency and results • Understands and applies industry trends and best practices • Exhibits optimism, resilience, flexibility, and openness to others' ideas • Values learning as a lifelong professional objective • Engages inclusively and with intent • Always acts with integrity RESPONSIBILITIES • Works closely with subject matter experts to manage regulatory events through the regulatory change management lifecycle (e.g., horizon scanning, impact assessment, implementation, and closure) • Assists with timely updates to regulatory inventories, change logs and/or other relevant documentation • Produces regulatory change management reporting • Collaborates on internal awareness and training efforts • Recommends enhancements to regulatory change workflows and tools • Liaises with compliance, legal, and business partners to support execution of the regulatory change management strategy and process
