We're looking for a motivated and passionate individual to join our team as an Accountant II, to have real impact and bring Forever Caring to life.

 

In this role, you'll play a key part in accounting, working alongside a dynamic team that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous growth.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Perform accounting and reporting tasks (incl. audit) in line with defined processes, standard operating procedures and work instructions, update process documentations as required

• Execute period end tasks for assigned entity(ies), perform reconciliation and clearing of accounts, report actuals in reporting system on timely manner and meeting quality targets

• Secure compliance according to internal procedures and legislation, support Senior Country Accountant in the preparation of the financial statements and tax reporting obligations

• Escalate issues and concerns to RTR Team Lead and propose remediating actions

• Proactively assist RTR Team Lead to identify any areas of improvement to help maximizing the efficiency and effectiveness of the processes, lead the implementation of improvement initiatives of medium level of complexity

• Support cross process and cross function cooperation required to achieve overall goals for GBS

• Drive the resolution of queries raised by employees, managers, finance partners & other internal and external stakeholders, build good relationship with stakeholders

• Actively support GL associates

To be successful you will:

• Minimum 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience

• Experience in working with IFRS and local standards

• Experience in Tax (Direct and Indirect) accounting and compliance is an advantage

• Knowledge of Technology: MS Office, SAP is an advantage

• Strong communication skills

• Mature attitude towards challenges and problem solving - being able to work with limited guidance and able to determine information needed to resolve issues, manage pressure effectively and cope well with setbacks

• Taking ownership of assigned responsibilities, including self-study/research needed to execute the same

• Being able to work to tight deadlines and changing priorities

• Continuous improvement mindset

• Team player

• Audit experience is a plus point

• Mandarin speaker is a plus point

• Experience in India Statutory Reporting and taxation (direct and indirect) is a plus point.

Education/Qualifications:

• Degree in Finance/Accounting

• Additional Prof accounting certification is a plus
