As part of Japan Vaccine Business Unit, senior manager of RSV OA consumer engagement is responsible for developing and implementing of Disease Awareness Campaign and its governance & internal approval process. This should be done through close collaboration with Japan medical, communication and GAMA as well as regional and global teams.

Specific accountabilities include:

  • Provide input and develop DAC strategy/operation plan built on customer/consumer, competitive insights.
  • Deliver best-in-class customer experiences to enhance dialog for RSV prevention also vaccines by utilizing advanced digital technologies, such as CDP, DLP, AI.
  • Drive the agencies involved in Disease Awareness Campaign development including TV commercial in close collaboration with medical, and the governance and approval process.
  • Work with medical and analytics team to further develop and measure the KPIs.
  • Fostering an environment of innovation, inclusion, challenge, trust and development.

Basic Qualification

  • Strong consumer marketing and agency management experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to convey complex information simply.
  • Ability to define, track, analyze key performance measures and make data-driven decisions.
  • Drive for performance, discipline on execution & tracking results & meet deadlines.
  • Strong governance mindset: able to assess potential risks for the performance and ensure a solid mitigation plan and performance tracking in place.

Preferred Qualification

  • 5+ years in pharma, healthcare or related industry.
  • Work experience in global functions/ environment.
  • Strong experience with Disease Awareness Campaign and consumer digital marketing.
  • Well-developed influencing and negotiating skills.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; feels driven to conquer uncharted territory.

Education/Certification/Language

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Master’s degree in Business, Marketing or Life Sciences is a plus
