About the Role:

Crusoe is seeking an experienced Director of Construction, Physical Security to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of advanced electronic security and life safety systems across our rapidly expanding data center and infrastructure portfolio. This role will be responsible for developing and executing enterprise-level physical security strategies that protect Crusoe’s people, facilities, and critical infrastructure.

The Director of Construction, Physical Security will lead multidisciplinary teams responsible for the design, integration, and operation of modern security technologies including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, emergency communications, and integrated security platforms. This leader will partner closely with internal stakeholders across construction, data center operations, compliance, and executive leadership to ensure Crusoe maintains world-class physical security standards across its global infrastructure footprint.

This position requires a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise in security system engineering, enterprise security architecture, and risk management, combined with the ability to lead complex security modernization initiatives across large-scale environments.

What You'll Be Working On:

• Lead the design and engineering of enterprise physical security systems including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, emergency communications, and integrated security platforms.
• Develop scalable physical security architectures to support Crusoe’s growing global infrastructure footprint, including data centers and critical facilities.
• Conduct risk, threat, and vulnerability assessments to inform security strategy and system design.
• Establish and maintain enterprise standards, policies, and procedures for physical security systems design, integration, and operations.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams responsible for the design, integration, and implementation of complex security technologies.
• Partner with construction, data center operations, and infrastructure teams to ensure physical security requirements are embedded into facility design and development.
• Oversee delivery of physical security projects, ensuring implementations are completed on time and within budget.
• Develop standardized security design documentation, specifications, and system architecture frameworks.
• Evaluate emerging security technologies and recommend innovative solutions that enhance protection and operational efficiency.
• Support security modernization initiatives across Crusoe’s facilities and infrastructure platforms.

What You'll Bring to the Team:

• 10+ years of experience in physical security engineering, electronic security systems, or related security technology fields.
• Deep expertise in the design and integration of enterprise electronic security systems including access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems.
• Proven experience managing physical security design, integration, and operations teams.
• Experience leading complex security programs across multi-site or enterprise environments.
• Strong background in risk, threat, and vulnerability assessment methodologies.
• Experience developing security design standards, technical specifications, and operational procedures.
• Familiarity with industry-standard design frameworks such as CPTED, DORI, ISC standards, and layered security principles.
• Knowledge of federal identity and credentialing standards such as NIST, PIV, FIPS 201, HSPD-12, and FICAM is a plus.
• Experience designing or supporting high-security environments such as SCIFs or facilities requiring UL 2050 security standards is a plus.
• Strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to think strategically while executing complex technical security solutions.

Compensation Range

Compensation will be paid in the range of up to $225,000-$275,000 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicants knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
