As a Surgical Glaucoma Manager, one will be responsible for the delivery of authoritative consultation and training on all Glaucoma products within the Alcon Surgical portfolio to enable the best possible patient outcomes while satisfying sales objectives and achieving quota targets in New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically influences key physicians, as champions/advocates of targeted Alcon Surgical Glaucoma products.

  • Maximizes Alcon relationships by identifying key decision makers and establishing communication with physician staff, in both clinic and Operating room settings.

  • Demonstrates strong technical and clinical abilities to discuss products in the operating room and perform product in-services.

  • Coordinates and leads educational presentations and surgical wet labs.

  • Manages the training process of MD’s through the phases of qualification and proficiencies.

  • Collaborates with the entire Alcon Surgical team to enhance and further the entire Alcon Surgical Portfolio.

  • Strategically works with the Surgical Academic Manager to assist in education of all residents, fellows and teaching institutions within the specified geographic region.

  • Current core strategic product drivers include surgical glaucoma; Customer responsibility includes hospitals, academic centers, DODs/VAs (where residents rotate),, hospitals and surgery centers and physician clinics.

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs; Assoc.+6 yrs; M.S.) 

  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English

  • 2 Years of Relevant Experience 

  • Work hours: 40 hours

  • Travel Requirements: 30-40%
