We are looking to fill one position within our Floral Department. The ideal candidate should possess experience in a retail floral environment. In this roll you will:
Provide high quality customer service
Create an enticing product presentation daily and provide exceptional customer service
Maintain serving and selling areas
Water plants when required
Inspecting displays, dead-heading and cleaning up work and display areas regularly
Record customer information for deliveries
Design floral arrangements
Clean up of the department
Perform any other tasks deemed necessary as part of the job and/or by your supervisor
Job Qualifications
Minimum of one year of experience in floral design
Familiarity with various floral designs and the ability to make informed suggestions to customers
Knowledge of plants and their care requirements
Ability to perform effectively under pressure and collaborate within a team
Prior customer service experience, including proficiency with cash registers
Capability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand for extended periods
Proficient in working independently as well as in a team environment
Commitment to addressing customer needs and demands with friendliness and efficiency
Strong communication and active listening skills
Effective written and verbal communication capabilities
Availability for evening, weekend, and holidays
Store Hours:
Monday - Friday: 8am to 9pm
Saturday and Sunday: 8am to 7pm
