The Opportunity


The Quality Control Analyst is primarily accountable for maintaining accurate data around licenses held by all roles within Wealth & Retirement and their expiration, control checks around accuracy of sales transactions, handling the client exclusion list (DNC), working in collaboration with all business units for special handling needs as well as keeping controls around closed CAPs.


Responsibilities

  • Liaise with various collaborators to collect and compile data, reports, and other information necessary for the application process 
  • Monitor the status of applications by communicating with regulators and other authorizing agencies 
  • Maintain compliance monitoring program and perform regular monitoring activities to ensure up to date processes and procedures are compliant with internal and external regulatory framework 
  • Assist in resolving licensing issues as needed
  • Monitor, process and document licenses and license renewals 
  • Where applicable, complete business license applications and gather required supporting documents and signatures 
  • Responsible for requesting payment from accounts payable for successful completion of applications
  • Use subject matter expertise to lead regulatory audits for sales advisors in relation to their compensation pay out
  • Investigate sales related cases, critical issues, privacy breaches, etc.
  • Maintain, handle, and document the addition and removal of the exclusion list (DNC)
  • Work with business partners through special sponsor requests as it pertains to retention opportunities
  • Provide leadership team valuable insights on trends and patters related to advisor training needs

What we are looking for

  • 5+ years in finance, business or related discipline
  • Outstanding service, presentation, and overall communication/negotiation skills
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Shown ability to be self-motivated and possess strong self-management skills
  • Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information effectively

Salary range is expected to be between

$57,000.00 CAD - $95,000.00 CAD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
