About the Role
An exciting opportunity exist for motivated Registered Nurses & Enrolled Nurses with experience in Urology, Colorectal and Gastroenterology who are seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join our supportive team.
Provide the full range of nursing services, including, but not limited to:
Manage physical and emotional well-being of the patient
Administration of medication in accordance with hospital procedures, protocols and policies
Assist with medical and diagnostic procedures carried out in the unit including wound care, catheterization, stoma care and bladder irrigation
Classifications for this position will range from YP3 - YP9 ($69,253.60 - $92,601.60 pro rata per annum).
Your Contribution
Bachelor of Nursing
Current AHPRA registration without restriction
Previous experience in Urology, Colorectal and Gastroenterology nursing is desirable
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
Demonstrated time management with the ability to prioritise activities
Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain

7 west is a 24 bed ward providing specialised care to patients with colorectal, urology and gastroenterology disorders. We admit both elective and emergency cases. The patients have complex needs, the very ward is busy with high acuity and our team is skilled and supportive. We have a strong focus on multidisciplinary care, education and research.
