We’re looking for Head of Agency Development China to join Snap China!

Reporting directly into the General Manager of China, you will be instrumental in building and managing strong relationships with agencies across the region, helping them enhance their digital presence on Snapchat. You will collaborate closely with our Sales, Business Marketing, Product, and various cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth from these agencies.

What you’ll do: 

  • Hold responsibility and be accountable for the financial performance of your Agencies in China; work to ensure these agencies meet targets.

  • Firmly establish Snapchat as a leading brand building and business driving platform in the eyes of multiple agency constituents.

  • Act as the primary point of contact, escalation point and thought leader for your Agencies in China.

  • Create a strategic plan to develop and deliver education & inspiration focused meetings that have an impact on multiple roles (media, operation, sales) in the agency.

  • Develop status as a trusted peer by C-suite leadership at the respective agencies and brands in China.

  • Conduct periodic business reviews with Sales leadership and important constituencies.

  • Understand agency’s businesses and develop appropriate solutions to meet their needs.

  • Explore collaboration opportunities with ecosystem partners to identify and pursue potential revenue streams.

  • Work closely with sales team to track revenue performance across the agency portfolio within China and determine corrective measures where needed

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally.

  • Understanding of Snapchat value proposition, and the ability to describe technical or complicated ideas into plain language.

  • Experience in working for matrix organizations & ability to win the support of key internal cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Ability to work in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment.

  • Proven knowledge and ability to build strong relationships at the C-level across the business both internally and externally within the China market. 

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.     

Minimum qualifications: 

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience.

  • 10+ years of marketing, brand advertising, agency, media sales and/or online advertising experience leading businesses or accounts.

  • Direct agency management experience within the China market

  • Experience in China export industry

 

Preferred qualifications: 

  • Experience in sales and marketing in a sales/commission-based role to advertising agencies within the China market

  • Ability to influence C-suite executives by helping them understand Snap’s value proposition, and the ability to describe technical or complicated ideas into plain language

  • Experience working in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment

  • Experience in managing a small team
