Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is seeking a Sr. Principal Engineer Systems to support a program out of our Fairfax, VA or Linthicum, MD location.
Position Overview:
This position requires multidiscipline knowledge in all areas related to systems engineering including systems design, modeling, requirements development and mapping, and integration and test.
Diplomatically interface with all levels of management, employees, internal and external customers, and vendors
Basic Qualifications:
Sr. Principal Systems Engineer: Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 8 years of experience, a master’s degree in a STEM discipline with 6 years of experience or a PhD in a STEM discipline with 3 years of experience.
Active TS/SCI clearance is required at time of application.
Experience with requirements development, mapping, decomposition, software verification, and generating system and segment level test procedures.
General knowledge of ground segment architecture
Experience using Jira and Agile processes during day-to-day work
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using MBSE & Cameo
Data Analysis & RF Mission processing
