As a Senior Technician, MTSU you will be tasked to oversee day to day operations under the Mold-Tool Set up Department.  

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Ensure GMP/ GDP compliance, HSE, Quality and Alcon Corporate policy compliance maintained.
• Supports all relevant qualification, validation of molding and tooling systems.
• Resolve low yield, defect issues related to PP molds, inserts and tool plates.
• Execution of MTSU tasks. Example;- PP molds and inserts inspection/ measurement, Inserts and Tool plates set up/ cleaning,
• Data collection/ monitoring/ reporting & documentation, Equipment operation/ maintenance/ calibration.
• Support molding machine vendor during PM, calibration and troubleshooting.
• Able to perform basic molding machine fault troubleshooting and provide support to Technical team.
• Able to troubleshoot and resolve faulty inspection/ measurement equipment.
• Support in insert/ tooling inventory management, perform good receiving and yield/ defect investigation.
• Coordination of MTSU tasks with other functions and within team.
• Complete improvement project or activities assigned by supervisors.
• Doing inspection using microscope

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Min NITEC/ Diploma in Mechanical / Precision Engineering or any Engineering field
• No experience required as training will be provided
• Able to commit to rotating day and overnight shift (12 hours rotating)
