The Position

Roche Pharma is seeking a Technical Product Owner to help shape and deliver our global and regional web experience ecosystem. In this role, you will drive scalable, compliant, and customer-centric digital experiences across websites, portals, and connected engagement platforms for healthcare professionals, researchers, patients, and consumers.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, UX/UI specialists, regional teams, and external partners to translate business needs into technical solutions and lead day-to-day delivery execution.

This role focuses on advancing capabilities across content management, personalization, search, integrations, localization, analytics, and digital experience optimization while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and operational standards.

Your Responsibilities

Product Ownership & Delivery

  • Own and prioritize the backlog for web experience and analytics platforms.

  • Translate business requirements into user stories, technical requirements, and acceptance criteria.

  • Lead sprint planning, refinement, testing, and release activities with development teams.

  • Ensure solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements, including Definition of Ready and Definition of Done.

  • Coordinate day-to-day delivery across engineering teams, vendors, and partners.

Web Platform & Experience Management

  • Support the delivery and continuous improvement of:

    • Global, regional, and local websites and portals

    • Content publishing and localization workflows

    • Search and discoverability capabilities

    • Personalization and customer journey experiences

    • Analytics and digital experience optimization

    • Consent and identity-enabled experiences

  • Ensure web capabilities are scalable, reusable, and aligned across regions and channels.

  • Balance business priorities, technical feasibility, and platform standards.

Integration & Technical Coordination

  • Coordinate integrations across platforms such as:

    • Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and other CMS platforms

    • Adobe Assets and other DAM repositories

    • Personalization engines like Adobe Target

    • IAM/SSO and consent management solutions

    • CDP, CRM, and marketing automation platforms

    • Analytics, reporting, and insight-generation tools

  • Collaborate with architects and engineers on APIs, data flows, metadata, and connected services.

  • Support cross-functional coordination across teams and vendors.

Quality, Compliance & Operations

  • Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, accessible, and compliant with Roche standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, accessibility, security).

  • Support testing, defect management, release readiness, and production validation.

  • Identify delivery risks, technical dependencies, and operational impacts.

  • Partner with support and operations teams to drive platform stability and continuous improvement.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Serve as the primary interface between business stakeholders, engineering teams, and vendors.

  • Collaborate with UX/UI, content, SEO, analytics, and regional teams to ensure alignment and usability.

  • Facilitate communication across global and regional stakeholders to support consistent delivery and adoption.

  • Contribute to governance, roadmap planning, and prioritization activities.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Product Owner, Digital Product Manager, Delivery Manager, Program Manager, or similar role.

  • Proven experience delivering enterprise web platforms, portals, or digital experience ecosystems.

  • Experience working with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and SAFe.

  • Strong collaboration experience with engineering teams and external development partners.

  • Experience with CMS, DAM, personalization, analytics, and web integration ecosystems.

  • Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, and digital platform architectures.

  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar backlog management tools.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in life sciences, healthcare, or other regulated industries.

  • Experience with:

    • Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)

    • Adobe Experience Cloud

    • CMS platforms such as WordPress or Drupal

    • DAM solutions

    • Consent and Identity Management platforms

    • Adobe Launch, Adobe Analytics, CJA, and SEO platforms

  • Experience supporting multilingual global and regional web ecosystems.

  • Familiarity with accessibility standards, localization workflows, and enterprise web governance.

  • Experience working with distributed global teams and external system integrators.
